Artist’s Biography

Canadian-born Anne Watson Sorensen is an award-winning Idaho artist of over 23 years. Anne has studied around the world with internationally renowned artists. She is an Art and Business School graduate.

Anne is a Signature Member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies (WFWS) and the Idaho Watercolor Society (IWS). She is represented by 5 galleries and has had numerous solo shows.
Her work is in corporate, private and public collections world-wide. Her art was selected as the permanent Boise City Hall Council Chambers backdrop.

Anne is the Idaho Dlegate to the WFWS. She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of Idaho (PAPI), Boise
Open Studios Collective (BOSCO), and a co-owner of the Art Source Gallery. She heads Art Breakthrough Workshops, and teaches watercolor classes and workshops in her west Boise studio gallery.

My mission is to infuse the viewer and the world with added beauty, joy and hope one painting at a time, as seen through my artist’s eye.  My artwork continues to evolve as I thrive in the process of creating new possibilities by seeing anew.”
