Whatever medium I am using, my goal is my individuality of expression using fundamentals of design, color and technique during the series of decisions I must make.

Artist Bio

Taught children's art classes in 4 States.  I have taken Art Classes while a student at the University of Michigan,  at The De Young Museum in San Francisco, CA, as well as classes in Tucson, Az, and Maui, HI. I have additionally taken classes at The San Diego Watercolor Society and Atheneaum Art School La Jolla, CA in watercolor, collage, oils and color theory as well as watercolors classes in Tuscany, Italy and oils in Paris, France. I was fortunate to be able to paint for years with Catherine Grawson and  Robbie Laird at their studios.

I was a Docent at the De Young Museum in San Francisco in the African, Oceanic and Americas Gallery for over 10 years. A Founding Member and a member of The Board of Directors of The Bay Area Ethnic Arts Society for which I arranged lectures, tours and membership drives. A member of the Board of Directors of The San Diego Watercolor Society.  Student and Patron of The Athenaeum Art and Music Library, La Jolla, CA.  

Designed brochures and invitations for San Francisco, and San Diego non profit fund raisers and The California Medical Society and Sklar Seminar Division.

I am a Member of the Boise Art Museum, Art Smart, Patron of The Athenaeum Art and Music Library, La Jolla, CA., The Idaho State Historic Museum and The Women's Leadership Circle, Boise Philharmonic Orchestra.
