“In my artwork, I am seeking to find the simple essence of a thought, idea or object. Nature and my surroundings are my main inspirations. Concepts get abstracted into strong lines, simple shapes and a range of color. My colors are achieved by hand dyeing the fabrics. Texture is added with machine and, sometimes, hand stitching.”
